Snowed in Musing #1

guitar strings plucked by careful hands. careful yet still youthful.

guitar strings plucked by youthful hands. knuckles pop after chord progressions stop. then the searching begins- in the case? in the living room? in the bedroom? no. ha. he's looking for me. i'm sitting right beside him and he's looking for me- to ask me where he might find a pick.......in the jar with the other picks.

and he disappears into the kitchen. oh yea, we are down to the last roll of toilet paper. hope we aren't snowed in too long.

he checks his silver and turquoise money clip. money folded ever so neatly within. yep, it's all there.

someone enters the room with another complaint. another unnecessary statement about something that doesn't matter. can't we just drop it and listen to the guitar, strings being plucked by youthful hands.
