No Time for Thursday

it seemed liked a mid-week day dream
like a hump day kinda vision

it seemed like a middle-day should
it felt like a wednesday would

it lined up with my calendar
but calendars only work as they should
if you know where the "you are here" star is

it felt like a tuesday nights worth of sleep
it felt like i had more days left in the week
it felt like i had time

so now that i've had all my wednesday thoughts today
it looks like i'll have no time for thursday
unless i forget tomorrow is friday
